Monadnock Pest announces New Boston 4th of July celebration sponsorship
Monadnock Pest & Wildlife Services is proud to announce their support and sponsorship of New Boston’s 91st annual 4th of July Celebration.
The company joins several other local businesses in lending support to the annual event.
“We are truly humbled to be in a position to lend financial support for the event” says co-owner Jeff Traynor.
“Being born and raised in New Boston, I can proudly say I’ve never missed a 4th of July celebration in town, and growing up along the parade route, the celebration holds immense sentimental value for me” he adds.
The annual celebration, which also draws large crowds from neighboring towns, includes a parade, fireworks display, and array of events that celebrate the nation’s Independence Day with a small-town feel. The event is a staple with local residents and businesses in the community.
Monadnock Pest & Wildlife Services, based in Peterborough, was founded in 2021 by long-time pest and wildlife control specialists Jeff Traynor and Lynn Cohen. The company boasts being a truly local, full-service firm; specializing in both preventative pest control offerings, as well as humane wildlife control and niche services.
“Lending our support to events like this is a primary example of why Lynn and I felt compelled to forge ahead with a small local company offering,” says Jeff. “Being just two years into our inception with this venture, we are elated that we can put our money where our mouths are and inject our profits right back into the communities we live and work in.”
While the company itself is in its sophomore year, the owners - Jeff & Lynn - both have a long pest & wildlife control career behind them.
“My extensive pest and wildlife control experience and services have been well received in the New Boston area, and lending support to this celebration, I think, is a fantastic way of showing my immense gratitude to the town and surrounding communities” notes Jeff.
New Boston’s celebration saw a hiatus with the recent pandemic, but has otherwise been an annual celebration in the area. Organizers say they’re looking forward to celebrating with the community again with the return of both the parade and Celebration in 2022.
“Our celebration draws thousands of people to New Boston and the success of this day depends on the generosity of our partners” reads a statement on the event’s Facebook page.
“There’s something in the air during the celebration that truly defines the epitome of small town New England living” says Jeff.
“From the fireworks, to the various neighborhood gatherings, to the inevitable Celebration-eve “Ghost Train” whistle, which echos through the cavernous night air of this valley town, it’s truly an experience like no other and I’m proud to have been brought up in that atmosphere” he adds.
As for Monadnock Pest & Wildlife Services and their community support endeavors, the company says it isn’t stopping at New Boston.
“We have some big plans to give back to the communities of the Monadnock Region we serve” he says. “Lynn has some community-based charities that he would like to contribute to in the greater Peterborough area, and I’ve got some causes and charities I’d like to support as well” Jeff confides.
“As we continue to grow our business, we fully intend to lend support to our local communities where we can” he stated.
New Boston’s 91st annual 4th of July Celebration will take place on Independence Day, July 4th 2022 in New Boston, with a parade in the morning, festivities throughout the day, and a grand fireworks display in the evening. Visit the celebration website for more information.
